Came here for dinner as we are staying by the airport and this was close by. There was plenty of parking. The place has a patio, a lounge, and restaurant side. The decor was very interesting inside - truck stop meets hunting lodge meets car show meets old gas station. The atmosphere and vibe is very cool. The food was great. My son ordered the kids spaghetti and he wolfed it down fast. My daughter had the brisket sandwich which had good flavour. My wife had the Jack's burger and it was quite large and tasty. I had the Reuben and a clam chowder. Really great sandwich and the chowder had lots of clams in int. We really enjoyed looking around to see all the different decorations around the inside. Our server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back if we come through again.
We had brunch, was amazing. Food came out quickly. Atmosphere is the best!! There was so much to look at, their collection is quite impressive. Lots of room for parking, we were hauling a horse trailer. Dog park for your fur babies available. Looks like they host lots of amazing events. Definitely will be stopping in again.
I've came here twice now, once for big shiny tunes & then BC/DC & each time was such a blast. The bc/dc show closed an hour early, which was a bummer but it was still so much fun. So far the waitresses have all been amazing, the food the first time I went was lame, I got the nacho & it was not very good, but everyone has bad nights because when I went for BC/DC the food was fantastic, & the nacho was 100% better. Blackjacks is my new favorite place to go for a night out! ONLY thing I wish they'd change is being able to reserve tables on event nights, a lot of people were pissed at bc/dc because all the good seats were reserved. Also when I tried to make a reservation, they told me I couldn't because they dont allow it which was obviously not true lol. But overall, great place to go though!
Stopped in today and had the best chicken sandwich - hot honey! Highly recommend! fast and friendly service, great portions, and reasonable prices!
Absolutely the coolest place ever. I absolutely loved looking around at all the things everywhere. Endless memories to enjoy over drinks and such great food!!! So delicious and filling!!! I'm definitely going back and bringing everyone!
Dropped by this place and it was fantastic!! The food was well prepared. My wife had a BLT on sourdough with a salad. Lettuce was chilled and crisp. Really good quality for the price. I had a clubhouse on sourdough and it was incredible! Oven roasted turkey, fresh made bread. They haven’t sacrificed quality for profits. The service was fast and friendly. Washrooms were clean. Overall experience was awesome.
Great place! As a driver i immensely appreciate this gem! Clean showers, smooth parking lot, paid parking of 10 cdn a night but worth it! It's gravel but is maintained and covered in dust control! Restaurant serves great food, awesome staff! I will definitely make this my "go to" truck stop when im in the Edmonton area! Thank you folks for what you do!
Dropped by this place on the way back from the airport. The steak special was amazing, beautifully rare just how I like it! Decent selection of drinks, and our server Natalie was top notch. It's nice to find a place with excellent staff; she chatted with us on a personal level and made great suggestions for shots. Definitely would visit again!
